CRDN of Virginia helps Extreme Makeover with family in Maryland

The Jackson family, a clan with 14 children, had lost their house in Poolesville, Maryland. ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition chose them to receive a new 4,500 square foot home. CRDN of Virginia was asked to participate in the textile cleaning portion of the makeover. We were delighted to help. Upon delivery of the cleaned items, we were invited to be a part of the taping of the show. It was fun to be a part of the show, and to see the reaction of the Jackson family when they arrived to see their new home.

CRDN of Virginia does Coats For Kids

Every year, along with our sister company Puritan Cleaners, we help with Coats For Kids to keep our community warm. We've collected over a quarter of a million coats since we started. This program typically runs from November 1st until the first week in December. Customers can drop off their coats at the CRDN headquarters or at any Puritan location. Once they do, we clean and repair them, and then deliver them to the Salvation Army for distribution.

CRDN of Virginia Supports Hilliard House

Hilliard House is a program that assists homeless women and their children to build their capacity to live productively within the community. CRDN of Virginia and Puritan Cleaners are proud supporters of Hilliard House. Projects that we've been involved in include The Mike Bike Fred Shed (left), storage pods for residents, grounds maintenance, and the construction of a new playground.
